About Britt’s Diesel

Britt started Britt’s Diesel & Automotive in December of 1985 and sold his business in 2020 to Michael and Carrie Leising. Carrie is a Bishop gal and has known Britt and his family since she was around ten-years-old. As a kid, Carrie rode her bike, jumped on the trampoline and hung out in the backyard for years with Britt’s family. Carrie lived next-door to them until she went to college, and is thrilled to live in the Owens Valley again after living in Texas with her family for the last 12 years. Who knew that a casual conversation in the backyard while visiting Carrie’s parents would turn into a serious one about Britt’s retirement?

Michael’s varied mechanical and business background makes him a good fit for the next generation of leadership at Britt’s Diesel. Having grown up on a farm in a small town in Western New York, he repaired diesel tractors and farm equipment until he joined the US Navy after high school graduation.

Having worked in several professional settings prior to Britt’s Diesel, Carrie works in the office, and handles the day-to-day paperwork to keep a busy diesel shop running smoothly.

Our dedicated crew is an outstanding team providing great service. We have full confidence that your vehicles are in good hands at Britt’s Diesel. The family-vibe is important to us. We are committed to providing exceptional service to our customers and vendors. We hope you’ll see it when you visit us at Britt’s Diesel.
